Turtle Beach provides instant landscaping, a basking site and biological filtration. It is designed to allow easy housing of semi-aquatic species that require access to a land area. Turtle Beach will serve as a high-surface, efficient biological filter that will reduce the need for frequent water changes. The underside of Turtle Beach includes a cutout for a small water pump (not included) and a section of tubing. When the tubing is connected to a water pump it becomes a biological water filter and mini-waterfall. It is ideal for smaller water turtles, a variety of semi-aquatic frogs, fire-bellied toads, aquatic newts, and freshwater and brackish water crabs. Turtle Beach is made out of high density foam.
