Campden Tablets - 2 oz
For best results, use one Campden tablet per gallon. Composed of potassium metabisulphite and is a convenient way to accurately sulfite wine. Releases sulfur dioxide, which acts as a sterilizer and antioxidant.
(Crush and dissolve in warm water before adding)
Usage:
One tablet per gallon of wine for sterilizing.
One tablet per 6 gallons of wine as an antioxidant.
One tablet per 20 gallons of water to remove chloramines.
2 oz package is approximately 100 tablets.
1 lb package is approximately 800 tablets.
